Service Description

Drop-off your dog with me at my home (by Square One in Mississauga) and I'll focus on strengthening his/her social skills! Book and drop off your dog so that he/she gets to spend some time with me and socialize with other dogs and people in my area, all while learning and practicing wanted behaviours in a 100% positive manner. The advantage to this service is that I can get a lot out of my busy and dog-friendly area, to help your dog become more comfortable in social settings and ultimately make better choices, in different situations. Wondering how this service is different from the "Drop-Off Dog Training" option? The drop-off training option can focus on socialization too, but also on other specific lessons like leash training, recall, impulse control and more. Whereas Drop-Off Socialization focuses primarily and solely on your dog's comfort being outside and making good choices that I will build on and reinforce. Socialization is important and crucial to helping our dogs then learn any lesson afterwards. Dog sitting or any down time during this session allows your dog to be able to take a break from socialization or training and prevent feeling overwhelmed or overtired.
